Terms of Service
The responsibilities behind an AI-assisted catering request.
Effective September 22, 2026.
About CaterVox and these terms
These Terms of Service describe use of CaterVox’s website, AI call services, and CaterVox-operated live cart pages on *.order.page. CaterVox is operated by Crave Up Inc., 177 E Colorado Blvd, Suite 200, Pasadena, CA 91105, United States. Contact hello@catervox.com for support and privacy@catervox.com for privacy questions or requests.
The catering business supplies the food and catering services. CaterVox supplies technology to help that business handle requests. Your purchase and fulfillment arrangements are with the catering business identified in your cart or invoice. A separately signed CaterVox agreement governs a business’s subscription where its terms differ.
If you use CaterVox on behalf of a business, you must have authority to do so. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. These terms do not replace any specific consent required for call recording, messaging or other processing.
Calls, live carts and approval
When a customer calls a CaterVox-enabled line, an AI assistant can discuss the business’s offerings, collect order details and help assemble a request. A live cart hosted on a CaterVox-operated *.order.page subdomain can be sent as a visual aid while the request develops.
Review the cart’s items, quantities, prices, taxes, fees, dietary notes, delivery address, date and ready-by time. Tell the catering business about errors or changes. A draft cart is not a confirmed order, reservation or guarantee of availability.
If the catering business has enabled “always confirmation,” CaterVox sends the invoice only after the business has reviewed and approved it. If that setting is not enabled, invoice delivery follows the business’s configured workflow; do not assume every invoice has been manually reviewed.
Business approval, invoice delivery, payment and order confirmation are distinct events. The business’s stated acceptance and payment conditions determine when a request is confirmed. The business remains responsible for fulfilling the accepted order.
Stripe-hosted invoices and payments
Invoices are presented through Stripe-hosted pages. Where available, a live cart may also offer a Stripe-powered payment form, including supported digital wallets such as Apple Pay. Payment authorization, capture and completion are separate statuses; follow the status shown for your payment. Check the business name, line items, total and payment terms before paying. Enter payment details only through the intended Stripe-powered payment form or payment page, not by speaking card numbers or security codes to the AI.
The catering business sets its prices, taxes, service charges, deposit requirements, payment due dates and refund/cancellation terms. Whether deposits or multiple payments are available depends on that business’s supported workflow. These terms do not promise those features for every order.
Contact the catering business about an incorrect charge, refund, cancellation or fulfillment dispute. Stripe’s applicable terms and privacy policy also govern its processing. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes, deadlines and food requirements
Requests to change headcount, items, timing, delivery or service after submission may need new approval and a revised invoice. Asking the AI for a change does not mean the business has accepted it. Cutoffs, minimum notice, delivery coverage and order minimums are set by the business.
AI-generated answers can be incomplete or incorrect. Confirm consequential details with the business, especially time-sensitive requests and dietary needs. CaterVox does not prepare food, verify kitchen procedures or guarantee that an item is free from allergens or cross-contact.
The catering business is responsible for its menu accuracy, food preparation, safety, labeling, availability, staffing, delivery and compliance with applicable food-service obligations.
Calls and communications
You are interacting with AI when using the CaterVox AI call service. Calls may be transcribed and, where enabled, recorded subject to applicable notice and consent requirements. Our Privacy Policy describes the information involved.
Provide accurate contact information and only information you are authorized to share. Order-related SMS or email may include requested cart links, invoices and updates. Carrier charges may apply. An order communication is not permission for unrelated marketing.
Businesses must provide required notices, obtain required permissions, keep their service configuration accurate, and use customer information only for authorized purposes. CaterVox’s obligations under applicable law are not waived by these business responsibilities.
Acceptable use and access
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, harassment, fraudulent orders, impersonation, unauthorized access, extracting other customers’ information or disrupting service. Do not distribute private cart or invoice links without authorization.
Keep business account credentials secure and promptly report unauthorized access. We may restrict access to address abuse, security risks or legal requirements, subject to any applicable business agreement and law.
CaterVox and its licensors retain rights in the service and its software. Businesses and customers retain their rights in the information they provide and authorize processing needed to deliver the service. These terms do not grant permission to use customer information for unrelated model training.
Website demos
A website demo uses a fictional restaurant or other sample context. It does not place a real catering order, reserve a date or initiate fulfillment. Use sample order details. Follow the recording notice presented before starting.
A demo may send real SMS messages or emails to contact details you confirm, including a live cart link or test invoice, after you agree to the delivery. Demo payments use Stripe test mode and do not create a real catering booking or charge. Follow the displayed test-payment instructions. Demo quotes may be approved automatically to demonstrate the workflow; that does not describe the approval settings of a catering business.
Service limitations and agreements
The service depends on networks and third-party providers and may be interrupted or unavailable. AI output should not be treated as a substitute for a catering business’s approval of consequential order details. CaterVox is not an emergency service.
To the extent permitted by law and except for express commitments in a signed agreement, the service is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or error-free AI output. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer protections that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Updates and contact
Material updates to these terms will be communicated as required by law or a governing business agreement. For questions about these terms, contact hello@catervox.com. Contact the catering business about your food, event or invoice.
