Who this policy covers

CaterVox provides AI-assisted catering calls, live cart pages and invoice workflows for catering businesses. This policy covers catervox.com, CaterVox-operated services, and live carts served for those businesses on subdomains of order.page. Stripe-hosted payment pages are also subject to Stripe’s privacy policy. This policy does not cover unrelated services that happen to use order.page.

CaterVox is operated by Crave Up Inc., 177 E Colorado Blvd, Suite 200, Pasadena, CA 91105, United States. Contact hello@catervox.com for support and privacy@catervox.com for privacy questions or requests.

When you contact a catering business, that business determines how your catering request is handled. CaterVox processes order-related information on its behalf. We also handle information for our own website, account administration, security and support. The catering business’s privacy notice may also apply.

Information involved in a catering request

Information you provide can include your name, phone number, email, organization, menu selections, guest count, budget, event date, ready-by time, pickup or delivery preferences, delivery address, access instructions and order changes. Please share only information needed for the request.

Calls are processed by AI to understand and respond to your request. Transcripts, call metadata and, where recording is enabled with the required notice and consent, audio recordings may be processed. Call metadata can include call time, duration and connection status.

Dietary and allergy notes may reveal sensitive information about you or other guests. Prefer counts and meal requirements over names or medical histories. Do not provide payment card numbers, security codes, passwords or government identifiers during the call.

Website, cart and account interactions can generate technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, page activity, session identifiers and security logs. Payment-related records can include invoice identifiers, amounts, payment status and receipts. Payment information entered on Stripe-hosted pages is processed by Stripe.

How information is used

Order information is used to answer inquiries using the catering business’s information, assemble and update the live cart, pass the request to the business, support review, deliver requested cart or invoice links, and communicate about the request.

Account and technical information is used to operate the service, provide support, protect against misuse, troubleshoot failures and understand website performance. The business remains responsible for decisions about availability, menu suitability, fulfillment and its customer relationship.

Website-demo audio and transcripts are used for quality review, evaluations and product improvement, as disclosed before the demo starts. These uses are distinct from training a general-purpose AI model; this policy does not grant permission for unrelated model training.

Who receives information

The catering business and its authorized staff can receive the request, cart details and relevant call records. Service providers supporting telephony, AI and transcription, hosting, messaging, authentication and payments process the information needed for their roles. Stripe receives information necessary to issue and process invoices and payments.

Information may also be disclosed when legally required, to investigate misuse or protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction subject to applicable protections.

Live carts, invoices and messages

A live cart at a CaterVox-operated *.order.page address provides a visual aid to the conversation. It can contain your selected items and request details. Protect cart and invoice links and forward them only to people you intend to involve; do not post them publicly.

The cart can change as the request is discussed. When the catering business enables “always confirmation,” the invoice is sent only after that business reviews and approves it. A cart or invoice is not, by itself, proof that the catering business has confirmed every requested detail.

Cart links, invoices and order updates may be delivered by SMS or email using the contact information you provide and any required messaging permission. Providing contact information for an order is not blanket consent to unrelated marketing. Contact the business if you want a different communication channel.

Retention and security

Retention depends on the record, its purpose and applicable obligations. Website-demo recordings and transcripts currently remain until manually deleted; they do not have a fixed automatic expiry. To request deletion, contact privacy@catervox.com. Requests may require coordination with the catering business and service providers. Records needed for legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes may need to be retained.

No internet service can promise absolute security. Please avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive information and notify the business or CaterVox if a cart or invoice link is exposed or appears incorrect.

Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on your location and the laws that apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. These rights may have exceptions, including records required for legal or accounting purposes.

For information handled for a catering business, contact that business first. For CaterVox’s own website, account or support information, contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@catervox.com. We may need to verify a request and coordinate with the relevant business before taking action.

If you do not want to interact with an AI or have a call recorded, ask the catering business about another way to place your request. Do not assume an alternative is available on the same line.

To exclude your browser from CaterVox website analytics, visit https://catervox.com/?analytics=off. This stores a preference in that browser. Repeat this on other browsers or devices, or after clearing site data. It does not disable operational logs, call recording or transcription when you choose to use the demo.

Changes and contact

We will update the effective date when this policy changes and explain material changes as required by applicable law. For questions about this policy, contact privacy@catervox.com.
