Make menu details explicit

  1. Include item names, descriptions, serving sizes, prices, and minimum quantities.
  2. List package inclusions, available substitutions, and optional extras.
  3. Document dietary information supplied by your restaurant. Escalate uncertain allergy questions to a qualified team member instead of guessing.

Write down your policies

  1. Specify lead times, order minimums, delivery areas, pickup windows, and any delivery or setup fees.
  2. Document deposit requirements, payment deadlines, and your approved change and cancellation policies.
  3. Record who may approve an exception and what needs review before a quote is confirmed.

Keep updates consistent

  1. Assign one owner to the current menu and policy document, and date each revision.
  2. Confirm the update process with the CaterVox team; do not assume an edited document has already updated your live setup.
  3. After a change, test an affected question and review the response before relying on the new information.
